Job Description:

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.** *Identifies the toolset needed to achieve success. Create visualizations using PowerBI and other tools as necessary.** *Manages people and deliverables to change information systems including the following: establishing timelines, assigning personnel, ensuring adequate resources, obtaining necessary information from internal departments, and monitoring project completion.** *Lead a team of Business Intelligence analysts and developers responsible for executing assigned objectives.** *Collaborate and partner with management and other internal departments to determine priorities of requests to teams to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future information needs** *Establishes plans, schedules, and processes to manage multiple concurrent projects/initiatives for on-time delivery; and produces regular progress reports of all activities for review and planning with other IT managers.** *Assists employees with difficult or unusual requests, making decisions about disposition of requests that need additional authorization for action.** *Define and manage a long-term vision and portfolio of initiatives to improve the customer experience and business results through creating world-class metrics, analysis, visualizations, and data-driven storytelling.** *Drive a Business Intelligence roadmap; prioritize business insight requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business** *Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value** *Connect with the PGT community of data professionals to stay current on technology trends, data tools and techniques to improve the performance of the team** *Create and foster an environment that values and promotes an inclusive approach to problem solving and continuous learning to improve** *Must be able to generate and explain detailed proposals, guidelines, and procedures.** *Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure optimum communication.** *Provides coaching, mentoring, and developmental feedback to team members including requirements gathering skills, interpersonal skills, and personal development as well as design and development processes consistent with SDLC best practices.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**Leads team of BI Analysts and Developers with regards to resource allocation and personal development. Strong management skills required. Strong interdepartmental team leadership skills required. The ability to listen and provide good follow up is essential as well as managing complex projects to completion.**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.** *Must possess strong leadership qualifications, i.e. honesty, organizational skills, must be able to motivate people, and take action to promote change.** *Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.** *Good organizational skills and detail oriented.**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE****Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, economics, statistics, applied mathematics, data science or equivalent experience** *5+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related field** *2+ years of experience managing teams** *Advanced knowledge of SQL** *Experience gathering and aligning business requirements across stakeholders that span job level and function** *Excellent working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining using complex SQL.** *Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses** *Inquisitive mindset, with proven problem-solving ability, and a passion for big data** *Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project skills required** *Strong computer skills.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** *Experience in software development languages such as ruby, python or Perl** *Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems by managing or guiding technical teams with tools such as Tableau/PowerBI** *Experience using ETL and database management systems** *Experience with one or more reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making** *Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams** *Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers**LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS** *Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential including effective presentation skills. Ability to convey highly technical information in simple terms, good written and verbal communication skills.**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**Excellent logic and problem-solving skills.**REASONING ABILITY** *Strong critical thinking skills; use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.** *Attention to detail and ability to develop and follow procedures required.** *Ability to work effectively with internal and external groups with different levels of technological knowledge.** *Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**None required.**TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS**Ability to travel occasionally domestically.**Ability to travel to other business unit locations such as needed.**Frequency: Occasional - activity exists less than 1/3 of the time***Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:* Nokomis, FL 34275: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Application Question(s):* Will you now or in the future require sponsorship?Experience:* Business Intelligence: 5 years (Preferred)* Management: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
