This position is for you if:

You have a minimum 3-5 years customer service management
You have knowledge and experience in process improvement and proven leadership of a successful team in quality and cost efficiency
You have been exposed to a manufacturing environment
You understand the value drivers of the department, and have ability to increase staff knowledge of these
You are Microsoft Suite proficient, have operating systems knowledge, Excel power user competence a must

Join our team:

As the successful Customer Service Manager you will create value for Speedling by creating value for its customers. You will be working closely with the National Logistics Manager (7 years wand the Customer Account TeamYou will provide strong leadership to your staff by creating Raving Fans through outstanding customer service. This includes but is not limited to accuracy of order entry, pricing, inventories and status/quality reporting. You will actively find and promote value add opportunities and provide prompt resolution to unavoidable customer challenges. She/He will actively engage in developing, teaching, and improving best management practices of Customer Service and Sales. In partnership with our Sales team, the Customer Service departments goal is to build profitable, successful, long-term relationships with both internal & external customers.

The job details:

Supervise, train, coordinate and monitor customer service associates to ensure prompt, courteous and accurate interactions with customers (external and internal) to create long term customer satisfaction.
Maintain flow of information, being proactive and initializing action as needed between all nursery departments (production, customer service, sales and growing) and customers. Demonstrate positive discretion by only sharing with appropriate parties in a responsible and productive manner.
Increase sales revenue and margin via active inside selling and proactive outside Sales support.
Identify and analyze data that requires attention and/or resolution i.e., sales forecast and A/R and use said data to improve company performance.
Develop and maintain a strong sense of teamwork among the employees both local and remote Office Managers. Delve into this team to determine best practices and create standards of methodology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Sales/CS company wide.
Define and manage metrics to adequately measure and improve department performance as perceived by external and internal customers. Goal is to understand and execute on opportunities for improvement.
Balance corporate imperatives and capacity limitations with customer satisfaction.
Maintain ongoing development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions that further automate the dept focusing on customer satisfaction. Efficiently execute those improvements agreed upon by Nat Logistics Manager.
Implement ways to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction across all facilities with the assistance of your department including the remote office managers.
Lead the planning and coordination of industry specific events.
