Job Description:
The Director of Club Operations manages all aspects of the club
including its activities and the relationships between Coral
Hospitality, the club, its members, guests, associates, community,
government, and industry. Coordinates and administers the club's
policies. Develops operating policies and procedures and directs
the work of all department managers. Implements and monitors the
budget, monitors the quality of the club's products and services,
and ensures maximum member and guest satisfaction. Secures and
protects the club's assets, including facilities and equipment.

Job Requirements: Education and/or Experience:
- High School degree and 3+ years of equivalent job experience
required.
- Associates and/or Bachelor's degree from a college or
university preferred.
- Extensive club, food & beverage and golf operations; management
and excellent customer service skills are required. -Supervisory
Responsibilities: Directly supervises Department Managers within
the Club, to include:
- Food & Beverage Operations
- Kitchen Operations
- Golf Operations
- Golf Course Maintenance
- Accounting/Human Resources/Administration
- Membership Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and
training associates; planning, assigning and directing work;
appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.Computer Skills:
-Intermediate personal computer skills with Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Point-of-Sale systems,
payroll systems, time clock systems, and website marketing.Language
Skills: -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers/employees, members, and guests.
Expressing or exchanging ideas or instructions by the spoken word
and in written form.
Mathematical Skills: -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- Serve-safe certification (preferred)
- Member of CMAA and/or PGA of America (preferred)
- Foodservice Management Professional (FMP) certification
(preferred) Essential Functions of this position:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should perform the
following essential functions of the position: Hours/Days: -Present
or on call seven days per week/24 hours per day. Essential
Functions -includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct daily inspections of all public areas, hallways and
rooms for tidiness, repair items and overall look
- Review all daily reports (golf rounds, financials, F&B,
etc.) for challenges and areas of interest
- Responds to all member and guest comments, phone calls
etc.
- Conducts daily lineups and weekly staff meetings
- Responsible for departmental P & L's and results to budget,
line items, etc.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and disciplining Club staff
working in conjunction with the Corporate Directors of Golf
Operations and Human Resources. Clubhouse Manager will inform the
Corporate Directors of pertinent human resource issues
- Responsible for overall implementation of Food & Beverage
efforts and plans with the Corporate Director of Golf & Club
Operations with a dotted line to VP of Food & Beverage of Coral
Hospitality
- Authorizes all gratuity and lesson payouts for payroll
processing
- Ensure weekly comparative tee time pricing of other courses in
your area
- Ensure the execution of corporate tee time specials and ensure
dynamic pricing models are followed
- Continually reviews all daily operational S.O.P.'s with the
intent to continually improve member and guest service
- Oversee the care, maintenance and safeguarding of all the
Club's physical assets and facilities
- Coordinates the marketing and membership relations programs to
promote the Club's services and facilities to potential and present
members
- Ensures the highest standards for food, beverage, sports and
recreation, entertainment and other Club services
- Establishes and monitors compliance with clubhouse purchasing
policies and procedures
- Reviews and initiates programs to provide members with a
variety of popular events
- Works with department managers to schedule, supervise and
direct work of all associates to ensure exceptional club
performance and service
- Participates in outside activities that are judged as
appropriate and approved by the Corporate Director of Golf & Club
Operations to enhance the Club and broadens the scope of the Club's
operation as a participating member of the community
- Any other duties as assigned by the Corporate Directors at
