POSITION TITLE: REGISTERED NURSEFSLA: NON EXEMPTUnder the direct supervision of Nursing Supervisor, incumbent is accountable and responsible for professional licensed duties in the area of community health.You Will Need:Florida RN license.Community nursing experience is preferred.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing required.Ability to handle multiple tasks required.Ability to problem-solveExcellent interpersonal skills.CPR required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Job Duties:Provide nursing care services in triaging, health education, emergency care and coordination of patient services based on the nursing process assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.Work primarily in assigned area of expertise and serve as back-up in other nursing specialties, as needed.Monitor and control patient flow closely to assure an efficient systemAssure high quality care is provided in a culturally competent manner.Utilize problem solving techniques in coordinating patient care and in promoting a good working environment.Utilize good interpersonal skills with staff and patients.Participate in clinical committees and community programs as assigned.Supervise auxiliary staff as assigned.Maintain a high standard of professionalism based on the State Nurse Practice Act, ANA standards and our agency policies.Other duties as assigned.
