Job Description:

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for patients at Empath Health Hospice Houses.

8am - 8:30pm, 36 hours/week. Repeating schedule: Week 1: Wed/Thurs/Sat, Week 2: Sun/Thurs/Fri

Under the direction of an RN, the hospice CNA delivers emotional and physical support to terminal patients and their primary caregivers. When our patients and their loved ones thank us for the angels who provide care, they are most commonly referring to our CNAs.

Primary tasks, duties, and responsibilities:
1. Provides basic personal care such as bed, shower or tub bath, oral hygiene, toileting, skin care, ambulation, and exercise as assigned and directed by the RN

Education/Professional Requirements:
1. Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant
2. Minimum 75 education hours toward CNA license
