What you bring to our team:
- - - - - - - - -Active Florida CNA license
- - - - - - - - -New Graduates: - Must take and pass the CNA license exam within 120 days of employment to remain an employee of Orchid Cove at Venice
- - - - - - - - - -Current/active CPR certification preferred
- - - - - - - - -Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- - - - - - - - -Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- - - - - - - - -Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- - - - - - - - -Problem solving skills
- - - - - - - - -Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change
As a CNA, you will provide care to our residents to include but not limited to:
- - - - - - - - -Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents
- - - - - - - - -Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics
- - - - - - - - -Routinely turn and position residents as necessary
- - - - - - - - -Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse
- - - - - - - - -Participate in collecting accurate date on residents to include vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information as assigned
- - - - - - - - -Other duties as assigned
