Our 4N ICU Stepdown unit is a patient-care area with specialized monitoring and nursing care for cardiac patients no longer requiring full intensive care but not ready for discharge to a regular unit. Qualifications: - Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN preferred - Current Florida State RN license or compact state RN license - Current BLS Certification from the American Red Cross (HCA chosen provider) OR American Heart Association is required - Current ACLS preferred; required within 6 months of hire - Minimum one year RN experience preferred but not required - Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment - Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds At HCA Healthcare, we are all caregivers.
