ABOUT USOverlooking the stunning turquoise waters of Anna Maria
Island, Mainsail Beach Inn features twelve residences ideally
situated on Holmes Beach. -JOB SUMMARYThe Resort Host is a unique
position in which the host will be responsible for Front Desk, Bell
Services, and Concierge Services. They will be the first impression
providing a unique check-in experience. - -DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
Escort guests to room according to
their preferences paying attention to those nonverbal cues to make
each experience uniqueAssist guests to their rooms Assist with
guest luggage as neededAbility to interact with guests and share
hotel knowledge using personalization such as using the guest
nameResponsible to know all functions to showcase the resort to
each guestMaintain guest confidentiality Share knowledge of events
and features within the resort Maintain knowledge of resort and
local events to enhance the guests stayProvide local information
for shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational
destinationsReceive, store, and deliver luggage and mailRun errands
for guests Deliver fresh towels to guests and re stock room
amenities as neededInspect rooms for cleanlinessMake travel
arrangements for guests to include sightseeing and other
toursAssist with coordination between Housekeeping and
MaintenanceVerify & deliver guest requestsRespond to guest
inquiries Follow scheduled shifts and follow break and lunch
requirementsReport any suspicious activity or unusual items in
roomReport any irregular behavior from guests in public areas and
or in roomAbility to take initiative and handle assignments with
limited supervisionFollow all hotel policies and procedures as
outlined in the team member handbookMaintain cleanliness and order
of work area -Hotel Performance
Ensure successful performance
assisting guests with an exceptional experience to ensure high
performing scores on TripAdvisor and other social media sites
-QUALIFICATION STANDARDSEducation & Experience:
High School diploma or higherPrevious
hospitality experience preferredExcellent customer service
skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and
writtenAbility to use technology -Physical Demands:
Ability to sit or stand for extended
periods of timeAbility to bendAbility to lift, pull 50 lbsAbility
to communicate clearlyAbility to work long hours as needed -Mental
