degree and a minimum 3 years related experience and/or training
specialized knowledge or skills.You have knowledge and experience
of recruitment and selection techniques, requirements of the
federal selection guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities
Acts and possess strong interviewing skills.You are knowledgeable
about existing and emerging training methods/tools.You have
coaching and mentoring experience.You are Microsoft Suite and
Google Proficient.Join our team:As the successful HR Specialist you
will be working with the VP of HR (15 years with Speedling) as well
as the HR Representative (4 years in the HR field). This role will
be responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional
level and work closely with management in supporting all locations.
This position carries out primary responsibilities in the following
functional areas: recruitment, training, employee enrichment,
safety, employee relations and policy implementation. The HR
Specialist will achieve staffing objectives by studying the
organization plans and objectives; building on the recruiting
resources and providing management with information, opportunities,
and benefits. The successful candidate will be customer-centered
and have experience in a fast paced environment.The job
details:Communicate with all levels of management to discuss
recruiting and organizational needs.Administer various human
resource plans and procedures for all personnel; assist in
development and implementation of personnel policies and
procedures; maintain the employee handbook.Participate in
developing department goals, objectives and systems.Determine
applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job
qualifications.Attract applicants by conducting recruitment plans,
conduct/monitor new hire monthly reviews, and monitor career path
programs.Determine applicant qualifications by analyzing resumes,
responses and verify references.Coordinate applicant interviews and
communicate necessary feedback throughout the recruiting
process.Improve organization brand by managing career events and
recommending new policies and practices.Handle employee relations
counseling and exit interviewing.Participate as lead on Employee
Enrichment Committee.Participate as Officer and represent HR on
National Safety Committee.Handle and track workers compensation
claims through closure.Maintain company organizational
charts.Articulate detailed information in an easy to understand
manner.Make recommendations and assist with all training
coordination and materials when appropriate.Assist in evaluation of
reports, decisions and results of department in relation to
established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies and
procedures to continually improve efficiency of the
department.Maintains compliance with federal, state and local
employment and benefits laws and regulations.Act as a role model
and demonstrate a positive work ethic and high degree of integrity.
Develop and maintain a strong sense of teamwork among the staff
members.Assist with other functional areas within human resources
