Job Description HYDRAULIC SPECIALIST/SHOP FOREMAN We are looking for a Hydraulic Specialist/Shop Foreman who will lead our growing shop floor all while still working side by side with our team. Hydraulics-Pros is your one-stop-shop for all your Hydraulic repairs needs such as hoses and Cylinders. We have Mobile technicians that are available to go out to a job site, business or home 7 days a week to inspect and repair customer issues. We do offer walk in repairs to our shop located in Englewood Florida. We are much more than a repair shop. It is all about the quality of our repair, the quality of our support, the quality of our service and all done with an attention to detail. We are here to serve the customer as best we can with a high level of service, where customers save on maintenance costs and down time by getting the repair they need. We have a devoted team of technicians and mechanics that are specialized within the hydraulic repair industry. Responsibilities -- Effectively and efficiently run the shop floor, including equipment and personnel, in a fast-paced environment in an independent manner with positive results -- Lead, train and develop shop floor mechanics and technicians -- Communicates with team members to help diagnose and repair equipment. -- Troubleshoot, rebuild, and repairs hydraulic components on equipment -- Provide a high level of communication with shop employees and Operations Manager. -- Perform diagnostic testing of components. -- Organize and prioritize workloads for technicians/mechanics -- Perform quality control checks before parts are shipped or installed. -- Develop and improve shop operations, decrease down time, and implement/enforce efficient work processes -- Ensure all floor personnel complies with rules, company policies and safety. -- Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment. -- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. Required Qualifications Skills/Abilities and Knowledge -- Proven strong and successful supervisory skills -- Proven mechanical and electrical skills with demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics. -- Superior judgment and decision-making skills -- Strong motivational, coaching and leadership skills -- Capacity to be highly confidential, discreet, and tactful -- Ability to lead, manage multiple tasks and work in an effective and positive manner -- Excellent time management and organization skills -- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors -- Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office and ability to multi-task through different applications quickly Requirements -- High school diploma or equivalent required. -- 2 years--- experience as a supervisor. -- 2 years--- experience maintaining and repairing various types of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.
